AQM-418 reverse osmosis system is contained of 4 stages. First stage is a 5 micron sediment that traps particulate matter such as dirt, rust, sand silt and sediment that will affect the taste and clarity of your drinking water. Second stage is a five micron Carbon Block filter that removes chlorine, chloramines and other materials that can cause bad taste and odors. Third stage is the main filtration media for the reverse osmosis system, also known as RO Membrane. This semi permeable membrane is 1/10,000 of a micron and will effectively reduce TDS (total dissolved solids), Sodium and a wide range of contaminants such as Arsenic, Lead, Percolate, Chromium, Copper and Radium. Stage 4 is a high quality GAC final filter, known as final filter because it filters the water exiting storage tank for the last time. The result of this process is a clean, crystal clear, delicious drinking water.
